A. In accordance with the ASTM A312/A312M-14 standard.

B. Maximum values apply unless otherwise specified.

C. The method for ammonia analysis should be agreed upon by the purchaser and the manufacturer.

D. For welded tube grades TP316, TP316N, TP316LN, and TP316H, the nickel content should fall within the range of 10.0% to 14.0%.

E. For small-diameter or thin-walled tubes requiring multiple drawing passes, specifically for grades TP304L and TP316L, the carbon equivalent content must not exceed 0.040%. Small-diameter tubes have an outer diameter less than 0.500 inches (12.7 mm), while thin-wall tubes have an average wall thickness less than 0.0695 inches (1.20 mm) [with a minimum wall thickness of 0.044 inches (1.10 mm)].

F. TP321-Titanium content shall be not less than five times the carbon content, but not more than 0.070 per cent.

G. TP321H- The titanium content shall be not less than four times the carbon content, but not more than 0.060%.

H. TP347- The niobium content shall be not less than ten times the carbon content, but not more than 1.00 per cent.

I. TP347H- Niobium shall be not less than eight times the carbon content, but not more than 1.0 per cent.

J. For welded tubes, the carbon content shall not exceed 0.045%.
